The children are thoroughly enjoying their topic of the Anglo-Saxons, Picts and Scots. Last week, they located where the Anglo-Saxons and Scots lived on a map, identifying the countries they originated from. They then explored how to find where the Picts lived. We discovered that Pictish stones are one of the most significant legacies of the Picts, and the children created their own versions of these stones using clay.
