Children will be walking to and from the Sports Centre each day.
Children should bring their costume/shorts and towel each day, in a carrier/swim bag. If your child prefers to wear goggles for swimming, these are allowed.
Please note that bikinis and long length swimming shorts are not acceptable.
If your child has a verruca they MUST wear a verruca sock. The use of aerosols is also not allowed but roll on deodorants are ok to bring if needed. They also need to bring a drinks bottle and they are allowed to bring a snack to eat on the walk back to school

We have planned a residential visit to Northumberland for our Y6 pupils from Sunday 13th July – Thursday 17th July 2025. Activities will be focused on the local and historical features of the area and will support all aspects of the Y6 curriculum. All activities will be planned and led by Inmans teaching staff, as in previous years. There will be full supervision at all times by Inmans staff and no unsupervised time for pupils during the visit. An experienced senior teacher will be leading the visit and will be taking other teachers and teaching assistants with the group. The ratio of pupils to staff will be a maximum of 10:1.
The itinerary has yet to be finalised, but we will be staying at the YHA in Berwick upon Tweed and the trip will include a visit to Beamish, Alnwick Castle, Paxton House Forest School , Centre 4 Life and Forbidden Corner, plus various other activities. The cost of the visit is £380 and includes full board, travel and entry to all activities.
To reserve a place for your child on this residential visit, you will need to pay a £50 deposit on Arbor before 11.59pm Tuesday 3rd December 2023. Your child’s place will only be secured once the deposit has been made. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable. Due to booking requirements, full payment will be required once you have booked your child’s place.
Please note that in accordance with the Education Authority’s policy for the safety of all pupils on extended school trips, attendance will be dependent upon appropriate behaviour being exhibited in the terms before the excursion, as well as during the visit itself.
Payments towards the total amount can be made at any time on Arbor, but the full balance must be paid in full by Tuesday 1st July at the latest.
All Y6 events (end of year play/leavers trip) will take place a week earlier due to the Northumberland dates.
