Creative Stories with Y3
Year 3 visited the church today in the hunt for Daniel the dragon and the naughty imps. Next week, they will use the setting of the church to write their own stories.

To describe the properties of everyday materials. Today, we used our senses to describe the properties of everyday materials. We also suggested what objects the materials would be good for and why.
Freeze Frames with Y3
Year 3 have started their new fiction text, The Stone Trolls. We worked in groups to create freeze frames of the most exciting parts of the story.
Our Harvest Service

‘more than’ & ‘less than’ with Y1
Over the past two lessons, we have enjoyed carrying out a range of activities to help us compare the number of objects. We have started to use the terms ‘more than’ ‘less than’ and equal to’.
Drama with Y3
Y3 took part in a drama activity: hot seating during English. They took on the role of the troll from our model text "the truth about trolls", they enjoyed pretending to be the troll.
