We are proud to be part of the following recycling schemes.

Recycle4Charity: Ink Cartridges
Drop Off Location: Recycling Box in the main office
www.recycle4charity.co.uk
This is a free and easy to use ink recycling programme, that helps to raise funds for our school & charity. Cartridges can take up to 1000 years to decompose. The lifespan of ink cartridges can be optimised by reusing & recycling them as many times as possible. Recycling plastic takes 88% less energy than making plastic from raw materials

The Rag Bag Scheme: Clothing & Shoes
Drop Off Location: Staff Car Park
www.rag-bag.co.uk/
The scheme is free and easy to use and our school will be paid for every kg recycled. The scheme increases awareness about textile recycling and by increasing recycling rates we can help the environment by ensuring less material goes to landfill.

Ellie’s Fund – Yorkshire Brain Tumor Charity: Used Writing Instruments
Drop Off Location: Recycling Box in the main office
www.facebook.com/recyclingforelliesfundbtt/
Ellie’s Fund raises money for the Yorkshire Brain Tumor Charity. All the used writing instruments are sent off to a depot in north west England and recycled: every part will be reused; melted down and turned into other items, such as watering cans, plastic benches, ping pong tables.

Recycle-More: Batteries
Drop Off Location: Recycling Box in the main office
www.recycle-more.co.uk
Recycling is a great way to help protect the environment. Each battery placed in a recycling bin will be taken apart and the materials will be used to make something new.
