Y5 enjoyed a fantastic hands-on, interactive day of learning at the Food & Farming Experience held at the Driffield Showground. With over 70 activity bases, the event offered a comprehensive look at different aspects of farming, food production, and rural life. Throughout the day, students explored a variety of displays and took part in engaging activities, all led by real farmers and food producers. The children behaved excellently and thoroughly enjoyed the trip, especially the ice-cream treat!! They returned with new insights and a greater appreciation for the countryside and the food we eat.
