Year 1 had the BEST day today!
Our trip to the Wonderlab: The Bramall Gallery at the Railway Museum was an unforgettable adventure packed with exciting, hands-on science. From the moment we arrived, the children were eager to explore – and the best part was that nothing was off limits!
We discovered the science behind railways and motion, explored the fascinating world of aerodynamics, and learned all about different fuels. The children loved getting stuck in, experimenting and testing their own engineering skills as they built, investigated and problem-solved together.
Our very brave and adventurous Year 1 scientists even stepped into the human wind tunnel! There were lots of curious questions, brilliant ideas and plenty of “wow” moments throughout the day.
It’s safe to say we have lots of very happy (and very tired!) children – and adults – heading home after a fantastic day of discovery and fun.
