🌿🐞 Outdoor Learning Day – 11th June 2026 🐦🍎🍫
Our EYFS children and staff thoroughly enjoyed celebrating Outdoor Learning Day together! The children embraced the opportunity to learn through play and exploration in the great outdoors.
They became little explorers on an exciting bug hunt, carefully searching for minibeasts and discovering more about the natural world around them. 🐞🔍🕷️
The children also created their own bird feeders using apple slices, helping to care for the wildlife that visits our outdoor spaces. 🍎🐦
To finish off the day, everyone enjoyed a refreshing cup of “mud milk” – our delicious name for chocolate milk – which was a big hit with both children and staff! 🍫🥛
It was wonderful to see so much curiosity, teamwork and enthusiasm as the children developed their confidence, communication skills and appreciation of nature through hands-on experiences.
Thank you to all of our amazing staff for making the day so special. We hope the children came home full of stories from their outdoor adventures! 🌳☀️💚
