Children enjoyed a day visiting the RNLI, some time on the beach and finished the day with a delicious ice cream. The RNLI delivered a workshop, sharing information on how to keep safe in and around water. They gave us an interesting tour of their lifeboat and what the crew wear to keep them safe on a rescue. Did you know, they put all their protective equipment on in 2 minutes? We had a fun time on the beach, working in groups to build a sandcastle with a wall and a moat. Icecream and iced lollies were enjoyed by all at the end of a fun day!
